🔄 Pattern Instructions
Center Flower:
Round 1:
- Make a magic ring, ch 3 (counts as 1 dc).
- (Ch 2, skip 1, dc in next st) — repeat from * to * 5 more times.
- You should have 6 dc and 6 ch-2 spaces.
- Join with sl st to top of beginning ch-3.
Round 2 (Petals):
- Sl st into next ch-2 space.
- (Ch 5, 3 tr-tog in same space, ch 5, sl st in same space) — repeat for each ch-2 space.
- You’ll form 6 petals total. Fasten off petal color if using different yarn for next round.
Triangle Base Round:
Round 3 (Setting up triangle):
- Attach background yarn to the top of any petal.
- Ch 7, tr in same st. (Ch 3, tr in space between petals, ch 3, sc on top of next petal, ch 3, tr between next petals) — repeat around, forming 3 tr + ch-7 corners.
- You should now have a triangle shape taking form. Join with sl st to top of starting tr.
Round 4 (Filling Triangle):
- Start from a corner: (Ch 7, dc in same st) — this is the first corner.
- Dc in each st across, but when reaching the corner spaces, ch 3 and skip 1 to leave space for shaping.
- Repeat across all sides to continue the triangle expansion.
- Make sure the triangle shape sharpens at corners by using (dc, ch 3, dc) in each corner.
Round 5 (Border Expansion):
- Work 1 dc in each dc of previous row.
- In each corner: (dc, ch 3, dc)
- This solidifies the triangular motif and prepares it for joining.
- Fasten off and weave ends.
🧵 Joining Motifs to Form Blanket:
- Make desired number of triangles in alternating flower colors.
- Use flat slip stitch join or whip stitch across triangle edges.
- Arrange in a honeycomb or diamond layout as shown in the inspiration photo.
🧼 Care Instructions:
- Wash gently in cold water by hand or on a delicate machine cycle.
- Lay flat to dry to maintain shape.

💡 Customization Tips:
- Try gradient yarns for a stunning flower fade effect.
- Make a baby blanket with pastel flowers.
- Use neutral tones for a minimalist décor piece.
