Round 1: Magic ring. Ch 3 (counts as dc), 11 dc in ring. Join. (12 dc)
Round 2: ch 3 dc in st 1. 2 dc in each stitch. making total of 24dc.
Round 3: ch3 count as dc 2dc together (dc3tog) ch 2 . dc3tog ch2 repeat. make 12 dc3tog total.
Round 4 (Sun Rays):
- change colors make 12 yellow dc and others in blue. color or color of your own choice.
- You should now have 12 sun rays.
Round 5 (Square Start):
make it square as shown in the graph .

Round 2 (Crescent shaping): Ch 1, 1 sc, 2hdc, 1hdc2dc in one stitch, 3dc in each next 3 stitches. then 2 dc in each st around, 1hdc2dc in one stitch, 2hdc, 1 sc ans slip stich. making shape of a moon with yellow color. as shown in grpah.
Round 3 (make Square) :
- follow instructions as shown in grpah. (ch4 treble crochet ch3 2tb in same st)
- tb in next stitch. 5 dc in next 5 stitches . 1 trb . (2tb ch 3 2 tb in same st.) making a corner. 1 trb . 5 dc in next 2st. make corner.(2tb ch 3 2 tb in same st.). 5dc. (2tb ch 3 2 tb in same st.).
Round 4,5 :
- dc makind border in corner add3 chain as shown in graph.
- sc in each st.

- Make 13 squares (alternate sun and moon).
