- Rnd 5-9: Continue increasing by spacing the increases evenly (e.g., 3 sc, inc → 4 sc, inc, etc.) until you have a half-circle shape.
- Begin crescent shaping:
- Work only 3/4th of the round in sc or hdc.
- Turn and repeat, decreasing at one end, increasing slightly on the opposite side to shape the crescent.
