Crochet Octopus Toy

Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn (blue or purple)
• Hook: Size H/5.0mm
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Safety eyes (8mm)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Steps:

1. Head:
   • Start with a magic ring and work 6 sc into the ring.
   • Gradually increase until you have 48 sc. Work evenly for 10 rounds, then decrease, leaving an opening for stuffing. Stuff with fiberfill and close.
2. Tentacles:
   • Chain 25, work 3 sc into each chain to create a spiral. Repeat to make 8 tentacles and attach them to the base of the head.
3. Attach safety eyes and embroider a small smile.
